Swimming Classes

We put Natalie in swimming classes this summer. They are on Saturday mornings at 9:30 am. The first day she didn't even want to get in the pool. She finally came in when I gave her a little baby doll. She held on to my neck and had her legs wrapped around me for about 15 min. The class is only 30 min long! She finally got into it and started having a good time. She does a little better each week. She still hates when I put her face in the water!! Hopefully by the end she at least won't freak out when her hair and face get all wet!

Potty Training

We have been potty training our little Nati. It took several months to figure out that she could really care less if she is in a wet pull up. So, we got rid of the pull ups and switched to underwear, princess panties, My Little Ponies, Hello Kitty, Tinkerbell, whatever she wanted. She has been doing great. After a few days with some accidents she got the hang of it. Know she only wears pull ups for nap time and at night. GOOD JOB NATI!!

On Saturday we met Sydney and her Mom at the zoo. It was great. The weather was perfect and all the animals were out walking around. Nati and Sydney had a great time together!

Nati wasn't crazy about getting wet. Once she got a little wet, she was done. She would not let go of her towel!

Destin May 2008

We just got back from visiting David, Karina, Pauli and Alisa in Destin. We hadn't seen them in while especially Pauli and Alisa since the last time they were in Louisville was for Thanksgiving and we couldn't get near them since Nati was very sick and very contagious. The bad thing about our trip is that Lucia and Izzy were not able to go. Izzy had to stay in Louisville and get tubes in her ears. Poor baby. Papi couldn't go either because he couldn't miss class. Tita, Tia Cynthia, Mami and Nati drove through the night to get there. It was interesting but we were glad to have the extra time once we got there.

Nati had a great time playing with Pauli. She did EVERYTHING Pauli did. She would yell out PAUUULIIII!! It was hilarious. They played dolls, house, got in the pool, jumped on the trampoline, and colored. We also went to the beach. It was a very busy 5 days but we all had a great time.

We couldn't believe how big Alisa was. She is so cute and shuch a good baby. Next time we see her she will probably be crawling and close to walking!!

Nati's New Outfit and Hair Cut

Nati has a new outfit on to go wiht her new hair cut so she decided to make some funny faces and model a bit. Sad Face.

Balloon Glow

This year we went to the Balloon Glow during Derby week. We thought Nati would have a great time. The bad thing was that it was really windy that night. THere should have been close to 50 balloons and only about 6 were up. About 9pm we finally left since we didn't think it would get much better and Nati was about to fall asleep. We'll have to try again next year.
