Nati is Still a Papi's Girl

She just can't get enough of her Papi.
She is definitely Papi's girl. We gave her baked ham from Thanksgiving and she loved it just like her Papi.
I still make sure she gets plenty of Mami time!!

Thanksgiving Part II

On Saturday we went to Etown for Thanksgiving with Mammaw Lucy and her side of the family. More eating!! Jason hadn't seen some of his cousins in a while. There were a lot of new babies around!!! Natalie had a great time playing with her cousins and Jason and I were glad to be able to visit with everyone.

Natalie tried something new today. Broccoli casserole. She loved it of course.

Day after Thaksgiving

This day the Nati decided to take on the stairs and she did it!!!

THANKSGIVING!

We always have Thanksgiving at our house so this year was no different. Nati went to Tita's that morning so Jason and I could get everything ready. We had two of our family friends, Natalie and Andre, drive up here from Miami. We grew up with them in Ecuador. They lived about 5 houses down from us. They had a really long drive but they made it.

Jason and I spent the whole day cooking and getting the house ready. Pappaw Leo, Mammaw Patty and Uncle Ryan also came. We had a pretty full house with my family and Jason's but we had lots of fun and lots of food. Jason did most of the cooking. He did a great job. Natalie also enjoyed some of Papi's great cooking. She ate sweet potatoes, turkey, mashed potatoes and rolls.
This was at the end of the night. The Nati was exhausted!
Natalie and Andre brought the Nati this cute little outfit. Of course we had wear it before they left!
We all went out to dinner the following night. As if we hadn't eaten enough already!!

Nati is 9 months!!

Natalie is 9 months old!! It has gone by so fast. She is getting so big. She is starting to look more like a toddler and not so much like a little infant any more. She is still CRAZY. She has learned to do quite a few things lately. Lets see, here are a few:
  • She likes to be chased
  • She likes to play peek-a-boo in her crib
  • She can wave bye bye
  • She can clap
  • She can make noises with her hand on her mouth
  • She LOVES to eat table food especially Cheerios, fruit puffs and pears
  • She sings along with the activity table
  • All she wants to do is stand up
  • She likes to play with Frankie (the boxer)
  • She FINALLY got one little tooth!!
Sorry I know that was more than just a few. I couldn't help myself!
Here are her stats: Weight 19 lbs 14 oz (70th %), Height 27 inches (45th %) and head circumference 17 5/8 in (60th %). You can see her tooth in this one!

Baby Engineers

In eight months five babies were born in the structural section at work. Can you imagine so many sleepless people working together!! Luckily we don't all seem to be out of it at once!!

Ok, here we go. First came Natalie, she is 9 months, then Jackson (far left) who is 7 months, then Andrew (in the blue bib) who is 4 months, then Ethan (in red next to Nati) who is 11 weeks and then Bradley (far right) who is 4 weeks. It looks like Nati has her pick of boys!! :)

Happy Bday Stella!!

Stella is one year old!!! I can't believe it!! It seems like yesterday that we went to visit Zac and Bethany at the hospital when she was born. Then again, it also feels like an eternity ago because Natalie hadn't even been born yet.
We went to Etown for her birthday. Natalie had a great time. She got a little rattle in her goodie bag and she hasn't stopped playing with it. She loves it. Jason hates it!! Don't worry, we gave Stella an instrument set. It came with a drum and a tambourine and a few other things that will for sure drive Bethany and Zac quite crazy. I am sure that Stella will become a great little musician!!
Any goodies in there?!

Day Care Thanksgiving Luncheon

Natalie celebrated her first Thanksgiving at day care. The parents were invited to eat lunch with their children so of course I went. We are starting to switch the Nati to table food. She ate mashed potatoes, green beans and banana. She loved it all!! I was glad that she was eating something besides cheerios and fruit puffs!!

The Nati is EVERYWHERE!!

Natalie has definitely realized that she can crawl anywhere she wants. She likes to go towards the two steps that connect our family room and kitchen. She has not tried to climb the stairs yet. I am sure she will try soon!!
She doesn't like staying in our room either. She likes to crawl down the hall way as fast as she can. When she realizes that we are coming after her she starts laughing and trying to go faster. That's when she usually falls on her face. Don't worry, it's all a game. She LOVES for us to chase her. She gets so excited that she can barely move because she is laughing so hard!!
Oh no! Here comes Papi!!

Pancake Breakfast

The Nati LOVES pancakes. She first had them at daycare and then Jason made us some for breakfast during the weekend. Here is a picture of our first family breakfast!! Please overlook our tired faces and crazy hair. This was taken very early on Sunday! :)

Happy Halloween

The Nata had a very busy Halloween. First, on the 30th the day care had trick or treating in the hall. They all came out in their costumes and parents gave them candy. She was a little mad because it was cutting into her breakfast time!! I don't think she was very fond of her costume either. Who wouldn't want to be a big purple dragon!!
On the 31st her class had a Halloween party. Papi also came and joined in the fun. They had all sorts of goodies that I would never buy for her at home. A perfect example is cheese balls! She was loving them until she put a whole ball in her mouth and I had to get it out for her to be able to close her mouth! That was the end of the cheese balls. She did have some animal crackers, sugar cookies, fruit bar and fruit puffs. She ate some of everything. I was afraid that she would have a tummy ache by the end of the day. That night Jason had class so Tita and Tia Lucia came over to give out candy and play with the Nati. We put her costume back on and took some more pictures. She was in a CRAZY mood. She was playing and laughing a ton. It must have been all that sugar!! :)
