Thanksgiving Curse

As is tradition for me there are no pictures from Thanksgiving. This year I have an excuse for not taking pictures. We went to Nana's for brunch and Natalie got a fever. She and Jason could not go to Tita's since baby Zoe was going to be there. Only Sam and I went. Tita had promised her she could spend the night at her house all weekend so I took her there once Zoe was home. Friday we took her to see Tangled and she still had a fever. Saturday she went to the pediatrician and she tested positive for Strep. Saturday night my Mom had Kevin's parents over so Natalie and Sam had too stay home. Again, after all left, she went back to Tita's. By Sunday she was feeling much better and was on antibiotics!

This is Natalie' 2nd Thanksgiving where she is very sick and contagious and she has to stay quarantined at home :(

The crazy weekend did not stop there. Jason and I had tickets to a Colts game in Indy so the kiddos were going to Pappaw's. Mammaw Patty had just been sick with a stomach bug but was feeling a lot better. Well, that night both Natalie and Sam were sick too. Scott and Jen went with us to the game and Scott was so sick with a stomach bug too he didn't even leave the hotel. I was no feeling too great either so Jason was the only one feeling ok and on top of all this the Colts played awful!

We had to take this picture before anything else happened that night!

Zoe is Here

Baby Zoe was born two days before Thanksgiving. She weighed 9lbs at 37 weeks! WOW! She has red hair and blue eyes like her big sis. She is a cutie!

Halloween!

This was the holiday that would never end. Finally, we got to Halloween day after all the other Halloween activities. As we did last year, this year we went to my Mom and Lucia's neighborhood to trick or trick with Izzy. Pappaw and Mammaw Patty came to see the kiddos too. It was great except that we couldn't find Natalie's tights and we forgot her jacket. By the end of the night the little girl was an ice cube!

The Fam. Sam had his first of many suckers that night.

Ethan's Halloween Party

This year Natalie's friend Ethan (and my friend and coworker Stephanie) had a Halooween party. It was awesome. We decorated candy bags, played games, decorated cookies and had lots of pizza and candy.

Natalie decorating her candy bag for the pinata!
Pinata time! I don't remember who finally broke it but they all got turns. It took quite a few tries and pulls from Stephanie.
Decorating sugar cookies.

All done! She is so proud and happy!

Halloween at Uncle Sam's

Every year Natalie's day care has a Halloween parade where whoever wants to come down can bring candy and the kids trick or treat in the lobby of our building. It's always packed and so cute. Of course this year was no exception. Natalie was an adorable Dorothy!

They also do a costume contest and that's why she has a number on.
Next day were class room parties and pajama day!! (Our favorite too!)

Wow We are in Trouble

Natalie driving the jeep was hilarious. She kept going into the yard because she was too worried about messing with the radio. Oh no, this is a glimpse into what's to come for us. We better start saving for insurance now!
