Roarchestra

4th of July weekend we also went to the zoo to Roarchestra, the Louisville Orchestra's summer concerts at the zoo.We went with Scott and Jennifer. Natalie was a little disappointed that all the animals were sleeping but we did get to see a few. She was very glad we saw the alligator which she had been talking about all night, I don't know why!! By the end of the night Nati was conducting and Jennifer was spending a ton of money on glow sticks and neklaces!!

4th of July

Every year our neighborhood has a 4th of July parade. This year Natalie used the tricycle that Tita bought her. I think Jason and I still have a lot of learning to do on the decorating side!! The parade was a little short because about half way through it started pouring down rain. We had to walk almost half a mile back to our house. We were all soaked at the end!!

Nati and Stella's Playdate

Stella, Zac and Bethany came over a few weeks ago. Natalie hadn't played with Stella in a long time. I think it had been three months!! They had a great time together. They jumped, spun, screamed and played outside!!

Nati's New Swing Set

We had been looking for a swing set for Nati for months and could not find anything. New, used, nothing. We looked everywhere and besides spending the 1300 to 1500 for a new wooden set we could not find anything that was in our price range. Finally we found this one. It was on sale on Craig's List. Already put together, never used, only two years old. It was perfect. We rented a U-haul and moved it in a day. Nati loves it. We go out every night to play and swing. She has gotten so good at swinging. The only bad thing is that most nights she cries when its time to come inside!!

Daren's Birthday Party

Nati, Jennifer, Tia Erika and I went to Daren's Birthday Party while Papi worked on moving Nati's new swing set. We bought it off Craig's List so it was already put together. We rented a U-Haul and got Scott, Tio Pat and Tio Travis to help and they got it back up in one afternoon.

Swimming Classes

We put Natalie in swimming classes this summer. They are on Saturday mornings at 9:30 am. The first day she didn't even want to get in the pool. She finally came in when I gave her a little baby doll. She held on to my neck and had her legs wrapped around me for about 15 min. The class is only 30 min long! She finally got into it and started having a good time. She does a little better each week. She still hates when I put her face in the water!! Hopefully by the end she at least won't freak out when her hair and face get all wet!

Potty Training

We have been potty training our little Nati. It took several months to figure out that she could really care less if she is in a wet pull up. So, we got rid of the pull ups and switched to underwear, princess panties, My Little Ponies, Hello Kitty, Tinkerbell, whatever she wanted. She has been doing great. After a few days with some accidents she got the hang of it. Know she only wears pull ups for nap time and at night. GOOD JOB NATI!!

On Saturday we met Sydney and her Mom at the zoo. It was great. The weather was perfect and all the animals were out walking around. Nati and Sydney had a great time together!

Destin May 2008

We just got back from visiting David, Karina, Pauli and Alisa in Destin. We hadn't seen them in while especially Pauli and Alisa since the last time they were in Louisville was for Thanksgiving and we couldn't get near them since Nati was very sick and very contagious. The bad thing about our trip is that Lucia and Izzy were not able to go. Izzy had to stay in Louisville and get tubes in her ears. Poor baby. Papi couldn't go either because he couldn't miss class. Tita, Tia Cynthia, Mami and Nati drove through the night to get there. It was interesting but we were glad to have the extra time once we got there.

Nati had a great time playing with Pauli. She did EVERYTHING Pauli did. She would yell out PAUUULIIII!! It was hilarious. They played dolls, house, got in the pool, jumped on the trampoline, and colored. We also went to the beach. It was a very busy 5 days but we all had a great time.

We couldn't believe how big Alisa was. She is so cute and shuch a good baby. Next time we see her she will probably be crawling and close to walking!!
